Requirements
- Have 2+ years of experience contributing production code.
- Have experience contributing to projects and helping drive them to completion.
- Have experience with Ruby, C#, Java, or Python; Ruby is preferred.
- Have direct experience with AI and agentic software development, such as Claude Code or Codex.
- Have a proficient understanding of JavaScript or TypeScript fundamentals, including React.
- Have experience working across the full stack.
- Have a proficient understanding of architectural patterns.
- Have REST or web development experience.
- Have experience partnering closely with Product and Design partners.
- Experience with Rails is preferred.
- Experience with authorization and permissions is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build, modify, and maintain features using Ruby on Rails and React.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code aligned with existing architectural standards.
- Maintain RESTful APIs and update PostgreSQL data models.
- Write unit and integration tests using tools such as RSpec and Jest.
- Collaborate with engineers through code reviews, standups, and technical discussions.
- Participate in a shared support rotation during working hours, diagnosing and resolving issues.
