Requirements
- Bring 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics development.
- Have expertise in data mart architecture, design, and management.
- Use SQL to write complex queries, optimize performance, and work with large-scale datasets.
- Have hands-on experience building and orchestrating data pipelines with tools such as dbt, Airflow, or similar workflow management platforms.
- Have working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS services such as S3, Redshift, and Snowflake or equivalent.
- Use Python for data manipulation, automation, and scripting.
- Have experience with Git and GitHub, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Have data visualization experience with Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Understand analytics engineering principles and practices for maintainable, well-documented data models.
- Be able to translate complex business requirements into scalable, data-driven solutions.
- Brokerage operations or financial services experience, and knowledge of accounting principles and market risk concepts, are preferred.
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and financial product structures is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own the development and maintenance of finance and market risk data marts, optimizing performance, data quality, reliability, and efficiency.
- Design, build, and document data pipelines for financial reports and metrics.
- Build, automate, and maintain brokerage reporting and monitoring systems.
- Partner with brokerage and market risk stakeholders to launch and support financial products and model development initiatives.
- Create dashboards and visualizations to monitor brokerage KPIs, profitability metrics, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Provide business intelligence support for trade and collateral monitoring, financial reporting, product performance analysis, and forecasting.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable analytics solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to data engineering and analytics development best practices.
- Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge.
