Requirements
- Have 15+ years of experience in design, product design, or interaction design.
- Show a track record of designing and shipping consumer, enterprise, or multi-platform software products.
- Provide a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design, systems thinking, interaction and visual design craft, and shipped products.
- Hold a BA/BS in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or have equivalent industry experience.
- Have experience designing for complex multi-sided ecosystems, physical-software workflows, or automated/AI-powered systems where user trust is critical.
- Demonstrate expert proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools, including Figma, and experience contributing to or scaling design systems.
- Be able to frame complex problems and drive design vision and strategy from concept through iterative execution in ambiguous environments.
- Demonstrate communication, storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration skills to align Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders.
- Show individual-contributor design leadership, including elevating design standards, establishing design processes, and mentoring designers.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design across the product lifecycle, from discovery, user journeys, and information architecture through interactive prototypes and high-fidelity execution.
- Design consumer-facing mobile application experiences and scalable integrations for retail and delivery partners.
- Map and optimize service workflows connecting merchant fulfillment, ground operations, and real-time delivery logistics.
- Design internal tools and operational dashboards for configuring, monitoring, and managing autonomous aircraft and delivery networks.
- Partner with UX Research to plan interviews, studies, and testing and translate findings into design decisions.
- Contribute to and scale the design system and visual language across the Wing ecosystem.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Hardware, and Aviation Operations on technical and regulatory constraints, design critiques, and mentorship.
