Requirements

  • Have 7+ years in data center delivery, infrastructure or construction program management, mission-critical facilities, or large capital projects.
  • Have delivered ground-up data centers or comparable mission-critical, industrial, semiconductor, or energy facilities.
  • Know the lifecycle from site handoff, permitting, design, utilities, and procurement through construction, MEP, controls, commissioning, and turnover.
  • Be able to run integrated schedules, critical paths, dependency logs, and change control.
  • Understand technical tradeoffs well enough to identify risks and escalate without owning design authority.
  • Align partners, vendors, and engineering teams around shared deliverables and bridge physical infrastructure with network and security teams.
  • Make decisions with incomplete information under schedule pressure and communicate status clearly to executives.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Nice to have: hyperscale, AI/GPU, cloud region, or high-density compute delivery experience.
  • Nice to have: utility interconnection, substation, MV/HV power, or liquid cooling experience.
  • Nice to have: experience with colocation providers, GCs, EPCs, commissioning agents, or permitting authorities.
  • Nice to have: PMP, construction management, engineering, or project controls certification.

Responsibilities

  • Own the integrated schedule from site handoff to Operations, setting workstreams, owners, milestones, and critical-path controls.
  • Drive delivery from rack requirements and engineering criteria through design, permitting, construction, commissioning, and turnover.
  • Coordinate execution across Real Estate, Energy and Utilities, Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management, Commissioning, Operations, Security, Finance, and Legal.
  • Maintain risk registers, dependency logs, decision trackers, and schedule variance reports.
  • Escalate schedule and delivery risks with forecast dates, variance, impact, owners, and mitigation options.
  • Lead schedule recovery when milestones slip and hold partners accountable to contractual milestones and commercial commitments.
  • Communicate program status through leadership reviews and concise updates.
  • Define handover criteria and ensure infrastructure and documentation are ready for Network Deployment.
  • Build repeatable playbooks, dashboards, and lessons-learned processes across concurrent deployments.
  • Travel approximately 40% to sites to validate progress and build partner relationships.
