Have 5-8 years of software development experience.
Bring deep technical expertise in Golang, Terraform, Kubernetes, and major cloud providers AWS and Azure.
Have experience architecting distributed systems and making complex technical tradeoffs.
Deliver work incrementally.
Bring operational experience leading incident response, driving RCAs, and implementing preventative measures.
Be comfortable working on a fully distributed remote team.
Advanced Kubernetes experience, such as autoscaling, KEDA, or KNative, or expertise in performance/load testing is an extra point.
Experience with Redis, Kafka, and/or PostgreSQL at scale is an extra point.
Experience building with agentic AI is an extra point.

Develop and maintain a scalable platform runtime using infrastructure-as-code across Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure.
Architect scalable, resilient infrastructure for cross-cutting concerns such as service discovery and routing.
Set platform best practices.
Identify performance bottlenecks and advocate for technologies that improve resiliency, scale, and cost.
Use DataDog and Prometheus to design SLIs and enforce platform SLOs.
Design secure-by-default infrastructure and collaborate with security teams on compliance.
Lead complex cross-functional initiatives from end to end, aligning teams on technical strategies and delivery.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
Use company-approved AI tools for software engineering, operations, research, and analysis.
Participate in the team's on-call rotation.
