Requirements
- Have 5+ years of business analysis experience in a matrixed environment.
- Demonstrate strong business analysis experience and experience participating in or leading requirements exercises.
- Have experience with AI-related projects and solutions.
- Demonstrate ability to manage requirements-phase activities and deliverables.
- Bring strong requirements gathering and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
- Have strong Agile delivery experience, including backlogs, user stories, sprint planning, prioritization, testing, and releases.
- Have experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Demonstrate ability to work with challenging stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Preferred: experience with enterprise HR functions and a strong understanding of HR processes.
- Preferred: Agile/Scrum or project management certification.
- Preferred: experience with AI-focused projects from requirements capture and testing perspectives, and ability to use generative AI tools for requirements and testing activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions to understand business outcomes, current-state processes, pain points, and future-state capabilities.
- Use process mapping, user journeys, personas, business rules analysis, use cases, and workflow modeling to uncover requirements.
- Identify gaps, assumptions, dependencies, edge cases, and impacts across people, process, data, and technology.
- Translate ambiguous business requests into detailed functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog and drive work from requirements through implementation.
- Lead sprint planning, refinement, demos, retrospectives, and releases as appropriate.
- Maintain RAID items, dependencies, milestones, and delivery plans, and proactively drive issue resolution.
- Support test case creation, coordinate testing, and coordinate releases.
- Communicate status, risks, dependencies, tradeoffs, and impacts to stakeholders.
