Requirements
- Have 3+ years of experience building mobile applications with React Native and TypeScript.
- Have experience releasing apps on both the App Store and Google Play.
- Have a strong understanding of the React Native ecosystem, including Expo, navigation, state management and data fetching.
- Have experience with testing, code reviews, monitoring and mobile performance.
- Be fluent in English.
- Experience with payment, fintech or other security-sensitive products is a plus.
- Experience contributing to a consumer application used at scale is a plus.
- Experience with web development in addition to mobile development is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and release new features in the Alma app from design to production with Product, Design and back-end engineers.
- Integrate payment SDKs and native capabilities, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, card management, biometrics and secure storage.
- Keep the application fast, reliable and maintainable through automated testing, monitoring, code reviews and performance improvements.
- Contribute to technical decisions and challenge product or back-end implementation when needed.
- Improve the team's architecture, tooling and release processes.
