Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Have 5+ years of experience in mobile or full-stack development.
- Have 1+ years of experience in React Native development.
- Have proficiency in JavaScript and relevant experience using React and React Native.
- Understand mobile and web application architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Have knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Be familiar with continuous integration and deployment tools and processes.
- Have experience with feature flagging and A/B testing.
- Have experience developing and maintaining products serving 1M+ users.
- Be available for meetings Monday to Thursday between 8am and 12pm Eastern.
- Preferred: experience with native iOS or Android development using Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java.
- Preferred: experience with Kotlin Multiplatform and SQL.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using React, React Native, Kotlin, and SQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Complete medium to large features independently without guidance.
- Implement responsive designs and animations with pixel-level accuracy and attention to detail.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in accordance with best practices.
- Identify and drive changes across product areas.
- Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
- Participate in code and design reviews to support coding standards and product quality.
- Provide strategic insight and technical guidance on codebase architecture as product features scale.
