Requirements
- Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Redis.
- Understanding of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PHP.
- Knowledge of automated deployment and configuration management, such as Ansible, Docker, or Terraform.
- Awareness of AWS and other cloud infrastructure services.
- Linux system administration skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and solve issues independently.
- Experience supporting and maintaining infrastructure as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize workload, including occasional incident and problem management.
- Knowledge of and experience with ITIL practices.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large, distributed software applications.
- Measure and optimize system performance.
- Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications.
- Improve the reliability, quality, and time-to-market of software solutions.
- Partner with development teams on testing and release procedures.
- Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning.
- Manage technical issues and projects with development and technology teams.
- Deliver technical projects and act as an escalation point for support incidents.
- Support continuous improvement, continuous delivery, and continuous integration.
- Participate in the on-call rotation.
