Requirements
- Bring strong experience in engineering leadership.
- Have a track record of implementing process improvements and raising operational standards.
- Have experience working in agile environments.
- Have experience delivering production-grade software as part of a collaborative team.
- Be able to engage confidently with engineers on design decisions, tooling, and technical trade-offs.
- Be comfortable with structured planning, performance management, and aligning engineering efforts with company objectives.
- Have familiarity with distributed systems and large-scale JavaScript codebases; this is a bonus.
- Bring a solid working knowledge of modern programming languages and software development practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams delivering reliable, scalable solutions addressing money laundering and other financial crimes.
- Coach and develop team members through performance feedback and professional development opportunities.
- Own product delivery in alignment with the roadmap, meet commitments, and remove blockers.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Technical Leads, Support, Delivery, and other Engineering Managers on roadmaps and deliverables.
- Refine engineering processes to improve operational discipline, predictability, and clarity.
- Contribute to agile practices, process improvements, and knowledge sharing across the engineering community.
- Promote psychological safety, clear roles, and structured decision-making.
