Requirements
- Have 4+ years of progressive accounting experience at a public or high-growth tech company.
- Bring hands-on experience owning full-cycle month-end close.
- Have a strong working knowledge of GAAP.
- Manage account reconciliations independently and identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Have experience with international, multi-entity, and multi-currency accounting.
- Be proficient with modern accounting tech-stack tools, including Excel.
- CPA or CPA-track is a nice to have.
- Big Four public accounting experience is a nice to have.
- Experience with Rillet or similar ERP or close-management tools is a nice to have.
Responsibilities
- Lead the global monthly close process, preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and variance analysis.
- Standardize the close process across entities.
- Establish scalable intercompany accounting processes and reporting for a growing multi-entity structure.
- Exercise judgment over vendor spend, accruals, capitalization, leases, and related accounting matters.
- Improve and automate processes to make the close faster, more accurate, and more scalable.
- Keep close deliverables audit-ready with clear documentation of positions and evidence.
- Respond promptly and thoroughly to external audit requests in owned areas.
