Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Five or more years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Proficiency in Excel pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with teammates.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A dedicated work space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
- Self-provided internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
- Preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Preferred: Knowledge of SQL and Snowflake.
- Preferred: Experience with PowerBI.
- Preferred: Previous experience in healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, maintain, and reconcile ledger accounts and financial statements, including balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, and capital expenditure schedules.
- Prepare, record, analyze, and report accounting transactions.
- Ensure accounting records are complete, accurate, and compliant with accepted accounting policies and principles.
- Provide financial support for forecasting and budgeting.
- Analyze variations from budget.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Conduct or assist with documenting accounting projects.
