Requirements
- Have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience working in distributed systems.
- Have at least 5 years of experience coding and implementing complex projects.
- Be proficient in Java; C++ or Golang is also listed as a must.
- Understand multithreading, the JVM, garbage collection, and profiling tools.
- Have knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed-systems fundamentals.
- Have experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Be proficient in a Unix/Linux-based environment.
- Have hands-on experience with AI development tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot, and demonstrate AI usage, adoption, and agentic coding in day-to-day work.
- Hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience in ML/DS is a plus.
- Experience in adtech or marketing tech is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, deploy, and maintain highly scalable software components.
- Design optimal data-pipeline architecture for large-scale data volumes.
- Work across the stack and low-level systems, and design distributed-system interactions.
- Assemble complex datasets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
- Build systems to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of sources using SQL and big-data technologies.
- Create data tools for analytics and data-science team members.
- Mentor junior software engineers.
