Requirements
- Have a minimum of 6–10+ years’ experience in sanctions, trade, customs, and/or export controls.
- Bring strong working knowledge of EU and/or US sanctions and export control regimes.
- APAC or Southeast Asia exposure is preferred.
- Be able to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- A formal legal qualification is not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day sanctions, trade, customs, and export control matters, focusing on EU and/or US regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement operational processes, templates, and frameworks for sanctions and trade compliance.
- Support growth in Southeast Asia through operational compliance processes and frameworks.
- Provide global operational oversight and guidance on sanctions programs.
- Ensure sanctions programs are aligned across APAC, the EU, and the US.
- Handle escalations and regulator inquiries as needed.
- Document processes during a transition and restructuring period.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and ensure continuity of the sanctions and trade compliance function.
