Requirements
- Coursework in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field is a bonus.
- Exposure to US GAAP, financial reporting, or technical accounting research is a bonus.
- Interest in treasury, cash management, insurance, or financial risk is a bonus.
- Familiarity with AI tools and willingness to learn new systems are bonuses.
- Experience creating process documentation or working with dashboards is a bonus.
- Intermediate Excel or Google Sheets skills, including organizing data and using formulas, are a bonus.
- Be willing to take on new challenges and see them through to completion.
- Be willing to ask questions, learn from mistakes, and look for better ways of working.
- Work collaboratively with the team.
Responsibilities
- Research and document technical accounting conclusions.
- Support quarter-end procedures, controls, schedules, and audit documentation.
- Update daily cash-positioning worksheets and dashboards.
- Prepare variance analyses, monitor liquidity, and track daily cash activity.
- Assist with cash-flow forecasting and transaction inquiries.
- Contribute to ad hoc strategic projects and process improvements.
