Requirements
- Have strong backend engineering experience in a compiled, statically typed language.
- Bring experience with Go or the ability to get into Go quickly.
- Know SQL well and think naturally in relational and columnar data models.
- Have hands-on experience operating and running at least one major cloud: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Have hands-on experience with Terraform or Pulumi and understand how infrastructure-as-code behaves in practice.
- Use AI coding tools hands-on as a normal part of your workflow and have experience with agentic development.
- Demonstrate a product mindset and the ability to turn ambiguous problems into shipped solutions.
- Take ownership from design through production and operation.
- Cloud or cybersecurity, CSPM, CNAPP, or compliance experience is a plus.
- Experience building policy or rule engines is a plus.
- Experience with high availability, scaling, eventually consistent and event-driven systems, Kubernetes, or early-stage startups is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and build core backend services in Go that evaluate policies against cloud infrastructure changes in real time.
- Own a core platform area from initial design through production operation.
- Build the simulation and enforcement path that blocks or auto-remediates non-compliant changes before they reach production.
- Stay close to customers and incorporate what you learn into the product.
