Job Details

Have strong backend engineering experience in a compiled, statically typed language.
Have experience with Go or be able to get into it quickly.
Know SQL well and think naturally in relational and columnar data models.
Have hands-on experience operating and running at least one major cloud: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Have hands-on experience with Terraform or Pulumi and understand how infrastructure-as-code behaves in practice.
Use AI coding tools as a normal part of your workflow and have deep, hands-on experience in agentic development.
Bring a product mindset and care about users and the problems being solved.
Be able to take ambiguous problems, identify a simple solution, and ship it.
Own problems from design through production and operation.
Cloud or cybersecurity, CSPM, CNAPP, or compliance experience is a plus.
Experience building policy or rule engines is a plus.
Experience with high availability, scaling, eventually consistent systems, or event-driven system design is a plus.
Production experience running Kubernetes clusters is a plus.
Early-stage startup or founding-engineer experience is a plus.

Design and build core backend services in Go that evaluate policy against cloud infrastructure changes in real time.
Own a core platform area from initial design through production operation.
Build the simulation and enforcement path that blocks or auto-remediates non-compliant changes before they reach production.
Work closely with customers and incorporate what you learn into the product.
