Requirements
- Hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Have 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or technical analytics roles.
- Have deep expertise with Python, SQL, and data visualization tools.
- Have experience in one or more of machine learning, causal inference, statistical modeling, or A/B testing.
- Be able to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for technical and business stakeholders.
- Have effective written communication and presentation skills.
- Have fluency in English.
- A Master's or PhD is a plus.
- Experience applying methods in operational settings with offline components is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product managers and business leaders to understand problems and identify practical uses of data.
- Generate insights from customer, merchant, and internal data using statistical modeling, data visualization, and machine learning.
- Design, implement, and analyze optimizations for internal operations, user promotions, and the agent network.
- Build data-driven heuristics and machine-learning models to improve user and business outcomes.
- Own the analytics process from project scoping and design through communicating findings to stakeholders.
- Design A/B tests for targeted user promotions and optimize field visit schedules.
