Have at least 7 years of software development experience.
Have 4–5+ years of production experience with Go, including goroutines, channels, context, the memory model, synchronization primitives, and concurrency patterns.
Have demonstrated experience designing distributed, microservices-based, and/or high-load systems.
Have experience leading or technically coordinating multiple development teams.
Know REST and/or gRPC API design, including versioning and backward compatibility.
Have strong PostgreSQL or MySQL skills, including schema design, transactions, and query optimization.
Have experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS and event-driven architectures.
Have substantial Docker and Kubernetes experience.
Have experience with CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
Understand scalability, fault tolerance, security, logging, metrics, tracing, and observability.
Have experience leading architecture reviews and producing technical documentation.
Have extensive AI experience, including implementing and configuring AI solutions in development teams.
Have experience in fintech, banking, or another regulated environment with high compliance requirements.
Hold a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
Have English proficiency at B2+ level and be available from 09:00 to 18:00 CEST.
Be willing to use a corporate laptop and complete a live Go programming task during the client interview.

Design and develop scalable, high-performance distributed systems in Go.
Own technical architecture and translate business requirements into technical designs and delivery plans.
Design microservices and event-driven architectures, including REST/gRPC APIs and asynchronous communication.
Make and explain architecture decisions involving scalability, performance, reliability, complexity, and maintainability.
Identify technical risks, edge cases, scaling constraints, and failure scenarios during design.
Lead architecture and code reviews and maintain consistency across development teams.
Define data storage approaches using relational and non-relational databases.
Improve CI/CD, observability, reliability, and engineering practices.
Create architecture documentation, including ADRs, technical specifications, and diagrams.
Mentor senior engineers and represent engineering in discussions with Product Managers, Solution Architects, and external stakeholders.
