Requirements
- Have strong Linux/Unix system administration experience, including storage management with LVM, filesystems, and NFS.
- Have experience operating enterprise-scale infrastructure.
- Demonstrate hands-on expertise with Ansible, AAP (Ansible Tower/AWX), Red Hat Satellite, EfficientIP, Python, Bash, GitLab, and CFEngine.
- Have experience with Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies and CI/CD principles and practices.
- Have a background in automation engineering, system administration, or infrastructure engineering in complex enterprise environments.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Demonstrate analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Be fluent in English at B2/C1 level.
- Be open to occasional business trips abroad and visits to the Katowice office.
- Experience with Terraform, Kickstart, Podman, HAProxy, VTOM, n8n, ServiceNow integrations, or other workflow orchestration tools is nice to have.
- Exposure to Perl/PHP automation scripts and AI/LLM-powered tools is nice to have.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain automation for large-scale Unix/Linux environments, including configuration management, patching, and system lifecycle operations.
- Build and enhance Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Ansible, AAP, GitLab, Python, and Bash.
- Provide third-level support for automation platforms and Unix systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement long-term improvements.
- Develop and optimize automated workflows for deployment, configuration, orchestration, and operational processes.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and operations teams on reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure services.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, automation standards, and best practices.
