Requirements
- Have native-level proficiency in Tamil, including strong spoken and written command.
- Have English proficiency at a minimum B2 level, particularly for written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
- Communicate language distinctions clearly and accurately.
- A background in voice specialization, linguistics, phonetics, music/audio engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with audio analysis, transcription, or linguistic assessment is valued.
- Familiarity with media, communications, or teaching is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Listen to Tamil audio clips and evaluate the nativeness and fluency of the speaker or model output.
- Assess pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity according to established guidelines.
- Document assessments in clear, concise written English, noting key linguistic factors.
- Provide detailed justifications for each evaluation.
- Collaborate with project coordinators to clarify requirements or language-content ambiguities.
- Contribute insights to improve AI model performance in Tamil language understanding and generation.
- Complete assigned audio review tasks accurately and on time.
