Job Details

Experience: 5 or more years of experience in full development life-cycle; 5 years of SW Development applications experience in using Progress 4GL and/or Progress OpenEdge
Required Skills: REST API

Have a degree or third-level qualification in IT, or equivalent experience.
Have 5 or more years of full development lifecycle experience, including analysis, design, development, testing, code reviews, and implementation.
Have 5 years of software development applications experience using Progress 4GL and/or Progress OpenEdge.
Have working knowledge of Progress databases, tables, and indexes.
Have knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and commands.
Have experience querying relational databases.
Have experience delivering development projects in a commercial environment.
Have working knowledge of EDI and XML messaging.
Be willing to work onsite in Perris or Middletown during the first 1–2 weeks of onboarding and for scheduled major project deployments.
Be willing and able to travel to EMEA and other international locations outside the United States and Canada as required.
Knowledge of REST API is an advantage.
Working knowledge of Zebra printers and ZPL coding is a plus.

Undertake the full development lifecycle of a global Progress application.
Produce software solutions within time and budget.
Support existing applications to an agreed SLA.
Work within a team and focus on continuous improvement and learning.
Create solutions to problems and investigate issues.
Facilitate and support onsite deployments of major projects.
Take ownership of project targets and delivery dates.
Follow each phase of the development lifecycle using internal tools in collaboration with teams.
