Requirements
- Ability to independently manage medium- to high-risk, high-complexity, high-client-visibility projects.
- Knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Knowledge of project management best practices, including PMBOK.
- Understanding of IT project methodologies and lifecycles, including conversion, incremental, rapid delivery, and traditional Waterfall approaches.
- Advanced skills using project management software.
- Ability to manage project budgets and timelines.
- Strong analysis, problem-solving, team, conflict management, and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to use negotiation techniques to reach agreement across differing viewpoints.
- Ability to facilitate interaction with executive-level clients.
- Ability to set clear expectations, manage team performance, and build team morale.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and carry out sensitive assignments.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate technical projects from initiation through delivery.
- Develop and manage project plans, scope, activities, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
- Identify project resources and define and assign major project roles.
- Guide project teams and clients in Agile/Scrum practices, self-organization, and continuous maturity.
- Coordinate tasks among project teams, internal departments, clients, and vendors or subcontractors.
- Manage project risks, issues, activity progress, and mitigation to meet project goals.
- Facilitate project discussions, decision-making, conflict resolution, and communication.
- Conduct project closure, communicate acceptance and handover, and complete post-implementation reviews.
- Track resource utilization and future allocation needs, and identify additional services revenue opportunities.
- Maintain updated project information in AHEAD systems, including Salesforce and FinancialForce.
