Job Details

Requirements

  • Have a bachelor's degree, or four years of clinical or technical application experience as a substitute.
  • Bring advanced experience supporting clinical information systems in a healthcare environment.
  • Have experience working with medium- to high-complexity clinical applications.
  • Have experience with Epic Willow Ambulatory implementations and/or conversions.
  • Hold current Epic Willow Ambulatory certification.
  • Understand healthcare workflows and clinical operations.
  • Translate clinical requirements into application solutions.
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams.
  • Demonstrate analytical, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, build, test, implement, support, and optimize Epic Willow Ambulatory applications.
  • Evaluate clinical and operational workflows with stakeholders and implement improvements.
  • Support Epic implementations, conversions, upgrades, and optimization initiatives.
  • Translate clinical and business requirements into application configurations and technical solutions.
  • Support incident, change, and problem management processes in accordance with ITIL practices.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Informatics teams to establish standardized workflows and apply best practices.
  • Coordinate application testing, validation, troubleshooting, and go-live activities.
  • Maintain application documentation, workflow specifications, testing scripts, and support procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve application performance, user experience, workflow efficiency, and patient safety.
