Requirements
- Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate clearly with technical and product stakeholders.
- Extensive hands-on production experience across backend and frontend development, independently designing and delivering end-to-end features.
- Strong Python development skills, including building production services and REST APIs.
- Experience with Docker, API Gateway, PostgreSQL, and enterprise service integrations.
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures, asynchronous processing, message queues, and workflow orchestration tools such as Temporal.
- Experience with CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions and observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, or equivalent solutions.
- Strong frontend development skills with React, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML/CSS, responsive design, and REST API integration.
- Familiarity with Storybook, frontend testing frameworks such as Playwright, Git, and reusable design systems.
- Knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure automation practices.
- Ability to translate product requirements into technical designs and working software.
- Understanding of distributed systems, resilience patterns, and authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth, OIDC, SSO, and RBAC.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues, resolve bugs, maintain accessible interfaces, and communicate technical decisions clearly.
- Comfort using AI tools in the development workflow and validating results, identifying limitations, and taking ownership of the final implementation.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product stakeholders to understand business requirements, define technical solutions, and deliver production-ready software.
- Develop Python backend services and responsive, accessible frontend applications with React, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Design, implement, and maintain REST APIs, data contracts, and integrations with external systems.
- Build resilient distributed systems using asynchronous processing, message queues, workflow orchestration, retries, and fault-tolerance patterns.
- Create reusable frontend components, shared design systems, and Storybook documentation.
- Work with PostgreSQL, Temporal, Docker, AWS Bedrock, and API Gateway to support application functionality and integrations.
- Write automated tests, including frontend tests with Playwright, and ensure accessibility and quality standards.
- Investigate and resolve production and development issues, and improve observability using OpenTelemetry, Grafana, or similar tools.
- Contribute to infrastructure automation and deployment workflows using Terraform, GitHub Actions, and version control best practices.
- Participate in architecture discussions, share technical knowledge, and use AI tools while validating generated output and maintaining accountability for quality and security.
