Requirements
- Have hands-on production experience with both backend and frontend technologies.
- Have production experience with Python, REST APIs, Docker, API Gateway, and PostgreSQL.
- Know event-driven and asynchronous processing, message queues, and workflow orchestration such as Temporal.
- Have experience with GitHub Actions and observability tools such as OpenTelemetry or Grafana.
- Know React, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML/CSS, responsive UI, and REST integration.
- Have experience with Storybook, Playwright frontend testing, and Git.
- Have knowledge of Terraform and design systems.
- Be able to turn product requirements into a technical design and working software.
- Understand distributed systems, resilience patterns, and authentication including OAuth, OIDC, SSO, and RBAC.
- Have production troubleshooting and bug-fixing experience, and knowledge of accessibility.
- Have advanced English.
- Be comfortable using AI as a core part of the workflow and validating, correcting, and owning its output.
Responsibilities
- Work with product teams to understand requirements and design and implement solutions.
- Build backend services in Python and frontend applications in React.
- Design and maintain REST APIs, data contracts, and integrations with external systems.
- Build resilient systems using asynchronous processing, retries, and fault tolerance.
- Contribute to the design system, reusable components, and Storybook.
- Write tests, follow accessibility standards, and maintain the UI.
- Investigate and fix production and development bugs.
- Add observability using OpenTelemetry and Grafana.
- Use Terraform and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and engineering standards, using and reviewing AI-generated output.
