Requirements
- Have 3+ years of HR experience.
- Be fluent in French and English.
- Bring deep expertise in labor laws and strong working knowledge of employment regulations across Southern Europe, with a focus on France and portage salarial.
- Have experience supporting complex employee relations.
- Use HRIS, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Zoom and Slack.
- Knowledge of the Employer of Record industry is preferred.
- Experience working across other Southern European countries, including France, is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary HR contact for onboarding, employee lifecycle events and terminations.
- Manage sensitive employee relations cases, attend calls or meetings, and draft legally sound documentation.
- Build and manage relationships with payroll providers, benefits brokers and HR legal advisors.
- Respond to client queries on benefits, compliance and workforce planning.
- Advise clients on labor laws and cultural nuances in Southern Europe.
- Review employment contracts and advise on risk mitigation.
- Guide clients through Performance Improvement Plans and support timely salary changes.
- Coordinate employees’ immigration and mobility needs with the Global Mobility team.
- Document processes, support task handovers, and drive automation, AI adoption and compliance projects.
