Requirements
- Bring 4+ years of experience.
- Have hands-on development experience with AEM 6.5 and AEMaaCS, including Sites, Assets, Dynamic Media, and Content Fragments.
- Have experience with EDS block development and performance tuning, and Universal Editor.
- Have strong Java, OSGi, Sling Models, Sling, JCR, and Maven skills.
- Have experience designing and consuming GraphQL and REST APIs.
- Have strong JavaScript (ES6+), React, HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS skills.
- Have working knowledge of Adobe App Builder, Adobe I/O, and AEM Mesh/App Mesh.
- Have CI/CD experience with Cloud Manager, Git, and Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps, plus cloud fundamentals.
- Understand Dispatcher, caching, and CDN concepts.
- Have experience with unit and integration testing using JUnit, Mockito, AEM Mocks, Jest/Cypress, or similar tools.
- Bring clear communication and a collaborative approach in Agile teams, with ownership, problem-solving, and willingness to coach others.
Responsibilities
- Develop AEM components, templates, services, and integrations using Java, OSGi, and Sling Models on AEM 6.5 and AEMaaCS.
- Build and optimize EDS blocks and author experiences using Universal Editor and modern JavaScript.
- Implement headless solutions using Content Fragments, GraphQL, and REST APIs, and build React-based frontends.
- Develop serverless extensions and integrations with Adobe App Builder and Adobe I/O, and contribute to AEM Mesh/App Mesh implementations.
- Configure and manage AEM Sites, Assets, and Dynamic Media.
- Refactor legacy code for Cloud Service compatibility, use modernization tooling where applicable, and validate migration output.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and write unit and integration tests.
- Participate in design discussions and code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot defects and performance issues across environments and collaborate with QA, architects, and the Lead on delivery.
- Document technical designs, component behavior, and runbooks.
