Requirements
- Have 4+ years of software engineering experience.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Node.js.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in TypeScript / JavaScript.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in MongoDB and REST APIs.
- Have experience building scalable backend systems and microservices.
- Have a good understanding of distributed systems and asynchronous processing.
- Have experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Be familiar with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
- Demonstrate strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Be able to work independently with ownership and accountability.
- Additional skills include Vue.js or React.js experience and experience with Ads APIs or MarTech products.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar technologies, analytics and reporting systems, and AI-powered or automation-driven products is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable backend services and APIs for Ads Manager.
- Develop integrations with Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other advertising ecosystems.
- Build systems for campaign publishing, audience targeting, attribution tracking, analytics and reporting, and ad automation workflows.
- Improve campaign publishing reliability and reduce user drop-offs.
- Collaborate with Product and Design during requirements and feasibility discussions.
- Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code; contribute to engineering best practices, code reviews, and SDLC improvements.
- Own features end-to-end and participate in sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
- Work with QA to ensure quality releases and collaborate across teams, communicating blockers and progress.
