- Have 7+ years of experience designing products in a fast-paced environment.
- Have experience working closely with engineering, design, and product teammates to develop feature strategy and rationale.
- Provide an outstanding portfolio with presentable case studies of your best work.
- Showcase a foundation in typography, interaction design, visual design, and idea generation for work you have shipped.
- Be able to turn complex challenges into simple, intuitive experiences.
- Move between design details and big-picture thinking while maintaining pace and quality.
- Understand design systems, how the field has evolved, and have a point of view on what comes next.
- Demonstrate a learning and growth mindset and adaptability as team processes evolve.
- Have excellent written, verbal, and storytelling skills.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and leadership to translate product strategy and complex challenges into well-defined product initiatives.
- Own and execute designs, interactions, and prototypes that turn product vision into user experiences.
- Use AI design tools and workflows to create artifacts that explore and validate ideas, features, and interactions.
- Contribute to the design system to support a cohesive and scalable visual language across the product.
- Conduct user research to uncover pain points and opportunities, and use insights to inform design decisions.
- Represent the design team by upholding a high design bar and making thoughtful, intentional decisions with teammates.
