Requirements
- Bring solid experience in software development and technical leadership of engineering teams.
- Have consistent knowledge of software architecture and the ability to participate in refinements, evaluate technical decisions, and work across application layers.
- Have experience with digital products, complex problem-solving, incident management, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Use product and engineering metrics to form hypotheses, prioritize initiatives, and support decisions.
- Communicate effectively as a technical reference, connecting engineering, product, and business teams.
- Support people's development through feedback and career follow-up.
- Experience with products or teams operating across multiple countries or markets is a plus.
- Knowledge or experience with GDPR, LGPD, or other privacy and data protection requirements is a plus.
- Experience with mobile, backend, or web products, especially those using Node.js, is a plus.
- Experience with AWS, distributed architectures, multiple systems, integrations, or legacy technology is a plus.
- Experience tracking product KPIs and using experimentation and hypothesis validation to guide decisions is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Activation and Engagement squads technically, supporting product evolution and engineering decision quality.
- Work with teams on architecture, refinements, and technical decisions to develop scalable, sustainable solutions aligned with business needs.
- Monitor product and engineering indicators to identify problems, form hypotheses, prioritize initiatives, and drive improvements.
- Manage and prioritize incidents, ensuring urgency, root-cause analysis, and SLA compliance for critical and major incidents.
- Support projects related to Skeelo's globalization, considering different markets and requirements such as GDPR.
- Develop people through structured feedback, career support, one-to-ones, and sharing engineering best practices.
- Promote collaboration, trust, and experimentation across engineering, product, and partner teams.
