- Know vehicle lending, lending structures, and potential clients.
- Identify market opportunities and assess new directions.
- Have business development skills and enjoy the sales process.
- Be confident proactively contacting new clients and empathetic to organizational needs.
- Apply creativity to banking solutions and product design.
- Understand tax and legal structuring and the implications of different structuring options.
- Define payment flows to address identified concerns.
- Estimate expected loss rates, identify required pricing, and understand pricing's profit implications.
- Show interest in technologies that may lower credit risk.
- Be self-starting, follow opportunities, and move projects and clients forward.
Responsibilities
- Develop products and business with vehicle dealers and vehicle-focused fintech partners seeking to provide vehicle loans.
- Define product designs for existing partners and point-of-sale finance solutions.
- Define risk-sharing processes, process design, legal and contractual work, and product terms and tenor.
- Understand the bank's available products and listen to partners' needs.
- Explain solutions, regulations, options, and financial implications to potential clients.
- Advise clients, support onboarding, and work with them through implementation.
- Identify lending product enhancements and additional products for existing end clients.
- Identify ways to support clients' internal processes, including collection accounts.
- Ensure technical system capabilities meet client requirements and implement products.
- Identify product gaps, technical partnerships, and technology solutions for additional client services.
