Requirements
- At least 7 years of product design experience, ideally in a startup or fast-moving product organization.
- A portfolio demonstrating visual design, interface craft, and strategic product thinking.
- Experience designing responsive digital experiences across web and mobile platforms.
- Experience creating prototypes to communicate ideas, test concepts, and validate solutions.
- Strong product intuition and ability to balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints.
- Ability to work through ambiguity, iterate quickly, and judge when to explore further versus deliver.
- A systems-thinking approach and commitment to design consistency, accessibility, quality, and scalability.
- Curiosity and initiative to solve problems beyond the interface and explore unfamiliar areas.
- Interest in AI-assisted design and development workflows; familiarity with Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, or similar tools is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design teams.
- Interest in creator-led commerce and contributing to the product vision and how the team builds.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product design process from discovery and concept exploration through prototyping, implementation, quality assurance, and launch.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to define problems, shape product strategy, and influence product decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve usability, workflows, aesthetics, and experiences for creators, brands, and shoppers.
- Develop prototypes and run rapid experiments to validate ideas and reduce uncertainty before development.
- Use AI-powered tools and emerging workflows to support design, prototyping, quality assurance, and execution.
- Participate in design critiques and product discussions, providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the design system to support consistency, accessibility, scalability, and a cohesive user experience.
- Deliver polished interfaces with attention to visual detail and interaction quality.
- Explore tools, technologies, and product patterns that improve design, collaboration, and product development.
- Take initiative beyond traditional design responsibilities.
