Requirements
- At least three years of professional experience developing and maintaining production web applications.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, with practical experience building modern web interfaces.
- Experience with a contemporary front-end framework such as React, Vue, Angular, or an equivalent technology.
- Ability to build responsive, accessible applications that work consistently across browsers and devices.
- Hands-on experience integrating APIs, authentication systems, and third-party services.
- Knowledge of browser security and common web application security practices, including protecting credentials and sensitive information.
- Experience writing, maintaining, and executing automated tests for critical application functionality.
- Proficiency with Git, version control workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Practical experience deploying and troubleshooting web applications in AWS environments.
- An active AWS certification is required; AWS Certified Developer – Associate is preferred.
- Comfort using AI-assisted and agentic coding tools, validating generated implementations, and identifying security and reliability issues.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently, take ownership, and collaborate across teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop responsive, accessible web applications and reusable UI components using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks.
- Translate product requirements and design specifications into production-ready interfaces across browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
- Integrate APIs, authentication systems, analytics, and third-party services using secure development practices.
- Optimize front-end performance, usability, accessibility, and reliability, and address technical bottlenecks.
- Test critical user journeys across browsers, devices, and network conditions, and implement automated tests.
- Investigate compatibility issues, integration failures, and production incidents; identify root causes and implement preventive improvements.
- Deploy and maintain web applications in AWS, manage configurations, and support monitoring, rollback, and production processes.
- Improve CI/CD workflows, deployment automation, testing practices, and production monitoring.
- Write and review maintainable, well-tested code, document technical decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Use AI coding tools while independently validating generated code and protecting proprietary code, credentials, and sensitive data.
