Requirements
- Bring professional software development experience with demonstrated senior mobile development expertise specializing in Flutter.
- Have hands-on experience with Apollo GraphQL, federated schemas, and REST and GraphQL API integration patterns.
- Know Flutter state management solutions such as BLoC, Riverpod, or Provider.
- Have experience integrating mobile applications with e-commerce backends, headless CMS platforms, and payment gateways.
- Understand mobile application security, including secure authentication, data encryption, payment integrations, and PCI-related compliance requirements.
- Have experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies for mobile applications.
- Have advanced or fluent written and spoken English proficiency.
- Be available to work in alignment with the CST time zone while based in Latin America.
- Bring analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
- Collaborate independently and with others, contribute to architectural discussions, and support the development of other engineers.
- Nice to have: experience with large-scale retail or e-commerce platforms.
- Nice to have: familiarity with native iOS development using Swift or Android development using Kotlin, particularly for custom native plugins.
- Nice to have: familiarity with performance monitoring and crash analytics tools such as Firebase or Sentry.
- Nice to have: a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development, technical design, and architecture of Flutter mobile applications for e-commerce and retail platforms.
- Contribute to architectural planning and technical decisions; establish coding standards, conduct code reviews, and mentor developers.
- Integrate mobile applications with headless CMS platforms, e-commerce backends, and other services through RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
- Implement and maintain GraphQL federation patterns, including Apollo Client.
- Build responsive interfaces for iOS and Android devices and optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to improve API interactions, data flows, and application state consistency.
- Implement secure authentication, data encryption, and payment workflows in line with mobile security practices and applicable standards.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and continuous delivery practices.
- Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.
- Collaborate with U.S.-based stakeholders and engineering leadership on technical solutions and product improvements.
