Requirements
- Bring solid experience with Azure cloud, including architecture and deployment of managed cloud data solutions.
- Have experience migrating databases from on-premises environments to the cloud.
- Understand data integrity, performance, and availability considerations in database migrations.
- Have knowledge of microservices, event-driven systems, queues, CI/CD, and TDD.
- Translate business and technology needs into well-founded technical solutions.
- Communicate with business and technology stakeholders and document requirements and decisions clearly.
- Be familiar with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, and with collaboration and documentation tools.
- Containerization and cloud environment orchestration experience, such as Red Hat OpenShift or Azure equivalents, is a plus.
- Azure cloud certifications, such as Azure Data Engineer Associate, are a plus.
- Familiarity with agentic SDLC, AI-assisted software development, multi-agent solutions, or AI workflow orchestration is a plus.
- Healthcare project experience or experience modernizing portals and critical systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design the technical architecture for migrating on-premises databases to managed Azure data services.
- Define the development environment, integration roadmap, and practical, scalable design decisions.
- Build and execute data migration processes, including modeling, transformation, transfer, and validation.
- Ensure data integrity, availability, and performance in the new cloud infrastructure.
- Gather, document, and refine functional and non-functional requirements with business and technology teams.
- Map the current environment and contribute to defining the future architecture and modernization plan.
- Apply microservices, event-driven systems, CI/CD, TDD, and automation practices to build and evaluate solutions.
- Document and communicate technical decisions, progress, and blockers using collaboration tools and agile methods.
