Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- At least 3 years of experience working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Experience developing and rapidly deploying internal and external services using cloud platforms, particularly AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Expertise in automated unit, component, and integration testing, including understanding of the testing pyramid and software quality principles.
- Understanding of data security, cloud security, and compliance requirements.
- Experience designing and implementing APIs, web services, and integrations between internal systems and external platforms.
- Technical leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex initiatives.
- Preferred: experience with financial technology, credit card products, accounts payable and receivable systems, payment processing, or corporate payments platforms.
- Preferred: familiarity with C#/.NET Core, Golang, React, or Angular.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software for corporate payments applications, partner integrations, and customer-facing experiences.
- Build and enhance customized applications based on jointly defined product roadmaps.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize APIs, web services, and integrations between applications and partner platforms.
- Build, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications and services using AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Implement automated unit, component, and integration testing.
- Own engineering initiatives from requirements gathering and solution design through implementation, deployment, troubleshooting, and production monitoring.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to understand business needs and explain technical decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve development workflows, time to market, and system performance.
- Apply secure development principles and address data protection, security, and compliance requirements.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architectural decisions; share knowledge and support colleagues.
