- Have experience with React or an interest in contributing across the stack when needed.
- Demonstrate senior-level engineering judgment about when to refactor, optimize, or ship a solution.
- Bring a product mindset and be comfortable working with evolving requirements.
- Ask thoughtful questions and balance technical quality with customer impact.
- Make pragmatic trade-offs.
- Show curiosity and flexibility, including willingness to learn technologies and work outside your primary area of expertise.

Responsibilities
- Build and improve core HR workflows in Node.js, including rules-heavy domains such as country-specific time-off policies.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services.
- Improve the performance, reliability, and maintainability of existing features.
- Refactor and modernize the platform while maintaining a seamless experience for existing customers.
- Contribute to frontend development in React when it supports the customer experience.
- Collaborate with engineers, Product Managers, QA, and designers to solve customer problems and deliver product improvements.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.
