Requirements

- Experience establishing engineering processes and managing delivery execution.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills for remote, asynchronous, and globally distributed collaboration.
- Commitment to building inclusive, psychologically safe team cultures.
- Experience using AI-assisted tools and modern software workflows to improve team velocity and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and mentor a globally distributed engineering team.
- Hire, onboard, and develop engineers while maintaining quality, accountability, and psychological safety.
- Partner with product management, product design, and engineering teams to align technical direction, shape roadmaps, and deliver commitments.
- Guide engineers on system architecture, code quality, performance, security, and maintainability across frontend and backend disciplines.
- Manage and refine agile, remote, and asynchronous workflows, addressing blockers, backlogs, and delayed execution.
- Encourage and integrate AI capabilities and modern developer tooling into daily workflows.
- Provide regular feedback, coaching, and support for career progression.
- Monitor operational health and reliability and participate in system availability and incident management rotations as needed.
