Requirements
- Have a bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bring 3 or more years’ experience or expert-level knowledge reviewing, assessing, and curing mortgage collateral documents.
- Have prior experience in Specialist I, Client Services Support I; this is strongly preferred.
- Have some mortgage-related document knowledge; this is preferred.
- Demonstrate attention to detail when reviewing documents, entering data, and preparing reports or correspondence.
- Use Excel proficiently, including lookups, pivot tables, and basic formulas for large data sets.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Compose professional correspondence and conduct web-based research independently.
- Exercise sound judgment when handling confidential borrower data.
- Organize and prioritize assigned work, manage requests, and meet deadlines.
- Be able to work overtime, including weekends, when needed to meet client timelines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver accurate trade reports to clients according to client schedules.
- Complete ad hoc reporting requested by clients and Trade or Portfolio Managers.
- Ensure client reports are accurate and provided at least 24 hours before scheduled calls.
- Review trade-level reports and communicate project or task issues to the relevant teams.
- Resolve assigned loan-level issues and identify and follow up on task coding or reporting discrepancies.
- Validate assignment chains and order assignments or Allonges for assigned client tasks or portfolios.
- Coordinate rush requests for document creation, recording, cancellation, or retrieval, and update clients.
- Retrieve collateral images from custodians and sellers, upload them into CAM, and coordinate pre-settlement timelines.
- Monitor, report, and escalate workflow timelines against service-level requirements.
