Requirements
- Bring strong subject matter knowledge in agrifood sustainability, agricultural production systems, and sustainability initiatives across supply chains.
- Be able to interpret and apply technical data relating to agriculture, sustainability, and MMRV.
- Independently research and analyze data, then synthesize findings into summaries, presentations, executive briefings, and actionable recommendations.
- Have 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, implementation, or project management.
- Have experience tracking project timelines, managing action items, and handling competing priorities.
- Demonstrate attention to detail when testing user functionality and managing web-based platforms or directories.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience creating documentation, pitch decks, progress reports, and meeting summaries.
- Have strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for working with team members, technical experts, program administrators, and external partners.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, Food Systems, Business, or a related discipline.
- Be comfortable adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Preferred: Familiarity with MMRV concepts, carbon accounting, Scope 3 emissions, sustainability reporting, environmental data management, or related frameworks.
- Preferred: Experience with agricultural sustainability programs, carbon markets, regenerative agriculture, ecosystem service initiatives, producers, commodity organizations, or agricultural value chain partners.
Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise for Marketplace and MMRV tools, programs, and resources.
- Test and quality-assure new Marketplace tool features and digital functionalities before rollout.
- Research regenerative agriculture, sustainability, MMRV, and environmental markets, and translate findings into program recommendations.
- Lead designated Marketplace workstreams, such as the searchable directory.
- Maintain organized, up-to-date project documentation and reporting templates.
- Prepare, format, and synthesize materials for pitch decks, proposals, and concept notes.
- Organize and document team and partner meetings, and follow up on resulting actions.
- Track project timelines, action items, and dependencies across cross-functional teams.
- Support planning, tracking, and execution of Marketplace and MMRV initiatives with the Senior Program Lead and Senior Project Manager.
- Maintain correspondence with external system actors and support meeting logistics, routine inquiries, and information sharing.
