Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on software or technology delivery projects.
- Demonstrate the ability to map complex business processes, including edge cases, exceptions, and non-deterministic decision points.
- Bring strong requirements-mapping and stakeholder-management skills, particularly when working with domain experts.
- Have hands-on experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and use case documentation in agile environments.
- Be proficient with process modeling and diagramming tools such as Miro or Mermaid, or equivalent.
- Have experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban and backlog management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Confluence.
- Have full professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Familiarity with LLMs, RAG, and agentic frameworks is a plus.
- Experience with enterprise organizations or engineering teams building AI-powered systems is a plus.
- SQL or basic data-querying skills are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Bridge business subject matter experts and engineering teams by translating complex processes into structured specifications.
- Lead requirements-gathering and process-mapping sessions, capturing workflows, business rules, edge cases, and exceptions.
- Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and use case documentation for deterministic and LLM-based workflows.
- Produce functional flows, process models using UML, BPMN, or Mermaid, and SOP documentation.
- Manage and groom the product backlog, define MVP scope, and support sprint planning.
- Identify gaps and contradictions in process documentation and resolve them with subject matter experts.
- Maintain functional documentation throughout the delivery lifecycle.
