Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position. 2+ years experience in setting up cloud specific infrastructure with public cloud providers like Azure, AWS and/or Google preferred.

Requirements
- Have a bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience, or equivalent experience acquired through applicable knowledge, duties, scope, and skills.
- Hold a cloud certification in a public cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google.
- Bring 2+ years of experience setting up cloud infrastructure with public cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, or Google; preferred.
- Have knowledge of infrastructure automation languages such as Shell scripting, Python, or PowerShell.
- Have experience with networking, security concepts, troubleshooting, and observability systems such as Prometheus/Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch.
- Know serverless technologies such as Lambda, Google Functions, or Azure Functions, as well as CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Have experience working with containers, including Kubernetes and Docker.
- Demonstrate ability to lead and manage others, coach staff, and deliver constructive feedback.
- Demonstrate collaboration, team-building, conflict-management, and negotiation skills.
- Be able to communicate recommendations to upper management and deliver presentations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team responsible for managing the cloud platform.
- Partner with cloud and enterprise architecture teams to develop and enforce cloud standards, best practices, and roadmap capabilities.
- Work with risk and information security teams to ensure appropriate controls and security rigor for cloud platforms.
- Partner with application development teams to provide platform service offerings.
- Plan and execute cloud platform architecture enhancements, including network, security, and automation.
- Own the reliability, availability, and performance of core cloud platform functions.
- Manage department staff, including hiring, performance management, and career development.
