- 3+ years’ experience applying machine learning or statistical techniques in real-world scenarios, preferably in computer vision or audio domains.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience using Python and data/machine learning libraries like Keras/TensorFlow or PyTorch, numpy, scipy, Pandas.
- Proficient in C++ and optimizing machine learning applications on edge hardware.
- Command line proficiency, ideally in a Unix-based environment.
- Basic knowledge of signal processing techniques.
- Preferred: experience deploying models to edge hardware and familiarity with PyTorch, ONNX, model compression.
- Use machine learning techniques to train, debug, and evaluate models for customer deliveries ranging from quick prototypes to full production-level models.
- Perform exploratory data analysis on large sensory datasets (image, audio, radar) to better understand the problem domain.
- Define and improve best practices of machine learning systems development, testing, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with data collection teams, Data and MLOps engineers, and Quality Assurance to enhance the quality of datasets and pipelines.
- Work with product managers to help integrate machine learning solutions and deliver the desired user experience.
