Requirements
- Have a high school diploma or higher education degree.
- Have 2–5 years of progressive experience in human resources, benefits administration, or leave management.
- Have experience coordinating workflow, providing functional guidance, or serving as a peer escalation point for administrative and HR support staff.
- Have knowledge of human resource laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Bring advanced regulatory, data reconciliation, and analytical skills.
- Have advanced computer skills, including using Excel to create and manage large data sets.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Have organizational, time-management, and customer-service skills.
- Be able to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
- Preferred: an associate degree or higher in business, HR administration, or a related field.
- Preferred: healthcare or hospital experience.
- Preferred: experience with Oracle Cloud HCM and UKG Time and Attendance.
- Preferred: SHRM or HRCI certification.
Responsibilities
- Align daily benefits operations, technical implementations, and compliance initiatives with division goals.
- Provide operational troubleshooting and guidance to HR staff on benefits tasks, inquiries, and vendor disputes.
- Guide new hires through benefit selections and coordinate timely system setups.
- Calculate quarterly 403(b) matches, process seniority dates, and assist with annual retirement audits and compliance.
- Reconcile biweekly payroll deductions, audit list bills, manage contribution, census, and enrollment files, and resolve system feed errors.
- Partner with internal teams and vendors on technical implementations and system integrations.
- Coordinate annual open enrollment and ongoing staff communications, including a monthly newsletter and intranet updates.
- Coordinate workplace wellness initiatives, health screening events, or promotion of the employee assistance program.
- Maintain compliance with applicable benefits and leave regulations, update policies and procedures, and improve administration processes.
