Requirements
- Fluency in French is mandatory.
- Bilingualism in English and French is mandatory.
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Experience in customer-facing roles involving administrative and/or IT responsibilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn and use new software and technology.
- Ability to troubleshoot minor IT issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing professional, grammatically accurate communications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, including managing high volumes of work and changing priorities.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, with strong attention to detail.
- A Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check are required as a condition of employment.
Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and process client applications and program documentation.
- Provide administrative and day-to-day support to the SkillingUp team.
- Coordinate webinars and assist with program data collection and reporting.
- Support volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and monitoring activities.
- Maintain accurate client records and data-entry and records-management processes.
- Assist clients with registration, progress check-ins, exam assignments, and help desk inquiries.
- Monitor learner progress, identify barriers to program completion, and build supportive relationships with learners and volunteers.
- Work with the program team to develop and implement accommodations, including assistive technologies and alternative formats.
- Advocate for learner needs and contribute feedback to program evaluations and improvements to accessibility and program delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor IT issues.
