Requirements
- Have a bachelor's degree and 3+ years of project/program management or similar business experience, or 5+ years of such experience.
- Have experience in at least one of these areas: public safety communications systems, cellular infrastructure, military communications, civil construction, logistics, telecommunications, or IT networks.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Understand two-way radio or cellular infrastructure communications products, services, and systems.
- Demonstrate a firm understanding of all nine PMBOK project management areas and expertise in two areas.
- A PMP certification is highly desired; PMP and/or CAPM is listed. A PM Master's Certificate is a plus.
- Be able to work effectively with general guidance toward objectives.
- Have excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Be available for 25%–50% travel.
Responsibilities
- Lead large projects or portions of complex projects.
- Deliver contractual project scope on schedule and within budget while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Develop and oversee complete project plans and run project phases.
- Establish, track, and audit project budgets; analyze variances and develop action plans.
- Allocate resources to meet project objectives, financial goals, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Conduct project reviews and communicate with customer organizations and relevant internal senior stakeholders.
- Manage project quality, cost, and schedule constraints.
- Maintain the overall financial health of assigned projects.
