Requirements

  • Associate degree required; undergraduate BS/BA degree preferred.
  • Animal health experience and knowledge of veterinary medicine preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in previous roles, including finding opportunities or solving problems to drive sales performance.
  • Ability to use analytics and insights to support decision-making and tactical execution.
  • Ability to manage assigned expense budgets.
  • Follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts succinctly.
  • Professional demeanor and presentation style.
  • Ability to identify and manage goals and priorities in a results-oriented way.
  • Ability to work independently and in a close team environment.
  • Computer skills, including MS Office and Outlook, and ability to learn Zoetis systems.
  • Willingness to accept and incorporate feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Meet sales objectives and quota for the assigned geography, including key growth products.
  • Launch new products and services and balance the portfolio to address territory and business needs.
  • Use solution selling and consultative techniques to build customer relationships and communicate the value of Zoetis solutions.
  • Develop and execute an annual territory business plan using industry insights and territory SWOT analysis.
  • Set SMART goals and use Zoetis resources, tools, and technologies to improve territory effectiveness.
  • Use the customer relationship management system to identify account growth opportunities.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with the Inside and Digital Sales Manager and adjust territory strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across in-person and virtual platforms.
  • Complete the product and industry learning curriculum and an annual Individual Development Plan.
