Requirements
- Experience administering Atlassian Jira or comparable SaaS applications, including system configuration, maintenance, and operational support.
- Practical knowledge of Jira workflows, permissions, custom fields, user access management, and automation.
- Familiarity with SaaS integrations, application administration, and license management.
- Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, authentication methods, and integration troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting data migration, including data mapping, cleansing, reconciliation, and validation.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and/or Airtable for analyzing structured and tabular datasets.
- Working knowledge of SQL and basic scripting for data investigation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with system configuration, testing, issue diagnosis, and resolution.
- Strong requirements analysis and analytical problem-solving skills, including clarifying ambiguous requests and identifying dependencies.
- Experience preparing technical documentation and communicating system information to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled tools for documentation, data analysis, testing, and workflow automation, and ability to critically evaluate their outputs.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities and multiple technical tasks.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field is preferred; relevant professional experience is also valuable.
Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and optimize Jira and related SaaS applications.
- Maintain Jira workflows, permissions, custom fields, automations, user access, and application settings.
- Manage SaaS integrations and license administration.
- Gather and clarify business and technical requirements, and identify dependencies and implementation risks.
- Coordinate data migration, including mapping, cleansing, transformation, reconciliation, and validation.
- Use Excel, Airtable, SQL, reporting platforms, and basic scripting to investigate datasets and support data quality.
- Troubleshoot REST API and integration issues involving JSON and authentication mechanisms.
- Support system testing, data validation, issue resolution, and implementation activities.
- Develop and maintain technical and functional documentation, and use approved AI tools for documentation, analysis, testing, troubleshooting, and automation.
- Review AI-generated outputs for accuracy, security, and compliance with data governance requirements.
