Requirements
- At least five years of successful B2B business development experience in healthcare, staffing, talent acquisition, or professional services.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales processes, navigate multi-level decision-making structures, and close high-value business agreements.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills for engaging stakeholders at different organizational levels.
- Excellent organizational skills, self-motivation, and accountability, with the ability to manage a sales pipeline independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and modern sales enablement tools.
- Experience in locum tenens, physician staffing, or maternal health is preferred.
- Familiarity with hospital operations, clinician workforce models, and healthcare staffing requirements is an advantage.
- Ability to articulate return on investment, communicate solution value, and develop tailored proposals.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, engage, and convert new clients across hospitals, health systems, OB/GYN practices, labor and delivery units, community health centers, rural healthcare facilities, and women's health networks.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach and discovery through proposal presentation, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Navigate multi-stakeholder decision-making processes and maintain sales momentum.
- Develop customized proposals that address client needs, operational challenges, and business objectives.
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service structures.
- Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline aligned with quarterly revenue targets, tracking opportunities through CRM platforms.
- Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and emerging opportunities in maternal healthcare and clinician staffing.
- Provide market intelligence to support strategic planning, operational investments, and business growth.
- Collaborate with Recruiting, Credentialing, and Scheduling teams to align client requirements with staffing capabilities and service delivery.
- Use CRM insights, automation, and AI-enabled sales tools to improve prospecting efficiency, pipeline visibility, and sales performance.
